September 21st - Couponing 101

Ladies, you are in for a real treat! One of our very own moms, Katrina Greene, will be sharing her knowledge about how to save a bum-load of dollahs on your weekly grocery bills. Saving money is something we all like to do. How else do you think we're able to drive those swagger wagons in posh style? Or at least afford all the upholstery cleaning foam cans to make nice of those nasty "snacks" that somehow find their way smooshed into teensie tiny pieces. I digress...

So don't be left with your wallet hangin'! Come to our next meeting, with pen and paper handy so you can learn to stretch every cent. You'll be jaw dropping amazed at what you learn..trust me!

  3. Okay ladies, Katrina inspired me so much that I had to try it today! So I went to www.hip2save.com and her Rite Aid weekly ad. Found a great deal on diapers, printed the coupons she suggested, and went to the store. I walked away with 3 packs of Huggies diapers for $13.29 out of pocket. Plus, I got $6 of "Rite Aid Cash" for using a Rite Aid Wellness card, plus I'll get a $10 rebate. So all in all I made $2.71. I was doubly blessed by a friend who happened to be in the store at the exact same time doing the exact same deal, but she doesn't have a baby...so I got her 3 packs of diapers for free and she made $2.71. How awesome is that that we can use this to bless others and have a little extra money in our pockets for a Mocha (o:

  4. Okay...so I'm hooked on couponing. And I don't know if Katrina covered this in her presentation because I missed the first half, but if you like to shop online then www.ebates.com is awesome-personally I live for online shopping; I wouldn't know how to get all my Christmas shopping done with the 2 kiddos. Anyways, you can earn cash back on your online purchases just by setting up an account with them. They have tons and tons and tons of stores!!! It's a great way to save anywhere from 2% on upwards of 10% of your purchase...Gap, Old Navy, Home Depot, Walmart, Target, etc... This is where you can even get those online promotional codes for things like free shipping. It's great (o:

  6. I did the same diaper deal at Rite Aid, too! Does anyone know if you can stack a cellfire coupon, with a kroger ecoupon, and a paper coupon? That may be a stretch, but I was just wondering...

  7. You cannot stack a cellfire ecoupon with a kroger ecoupon. Only one ecoupon will be deducted for one item. Sorry. :/ But you can stack the ecoupon with the paper coupon...find a sale (like this week's Mega Event) and BAM!!! HUGE SAVINGS!!
